On Tuesday (February 27), YoungBoy slyly dropped “NEXT,” which exudes more of an upbeat effort. Both releases from this week are attached to the rapper’s album DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME. Last month, he took to the Rap Radar podcast to discuss his upcoming project, describing work as being “peaceful.” While YoungBoy mentioned how he refrained from getting too aggressive with his lyrics in I Rest My Case, he has no inhibitions in his new effort. He told the podcast, “I’ma talk crazy on there. I’m a show you the Murda Man. I’m gon’ talk crazy on there, but I’m letting you know though, don’t try this at home. It’s all entertainment, bruh. I’ma talk my s### and everything I talk, I’m letting you know, don’t try this at home.”
