King of Apala Music, Musiliu Babatunde Haruna Ishola is often credited for revitalizing the apala genre and spearheading the apala-resurgence of the 2000s following the footstep of his late father, Alhaji Haruna Ishola Bello a.k.a. Baba N Gani Agba.
With his Y2K album “Soyoyo“, Musiliu Haruna Ishola succeeded in keeping his father’s legacy, bringing Apala back to vogue.
